Collegiate Wushu Championship (Suggested) Divisions

The following is a possible list of divisions for the collegiate championship. The actual list of divisions offered at the competition is the responsibility of tournament host -



Handsets:
	Contemporary Chang Chuan
	Contemporary Nan Chuan
	Other Contemporary
	Traditional (all styles)
	Chen Taiji
	Yang Taiji
	Other Internal

Weapons:
	Contemporary Broadsword (not Nandao)
	Contemporary Straightsword
	Contemporary Spear
	Contemporary Staff (not Nangun)
	Other Contemporary (flexible, double, etc)
	Internal (Taijijian, Bagua weapons, etc)
	Traditional Long
	Traditional Short
	Other Traditional (flexible, double, etc)

Other:
	Group Set (teams only)
	Sparring Set (2-3 people/can't count towards team competition)

These divisions can be changed, Nangun and Nandao are the most reasonable additions. A balance must be drawn between good, fair divisions and decent participation in each one.
